New Delhi, April 15, 2026: US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Wednesday kicked off the ‘Freedom250’ celebrations in the Indian capital by unveiling vibrant auto-rickshaws adorned with images of President Donald Trump, the American flag, and the Statue of Liberty.
The colourful three-wheelers, wrapped with the message “Happy Birthday America! 250 Years Old,” mark the upcoming 250th anniversary of US independence on July 4, 2026. Ambassador Gor described the initiative as a lively public diplomacy effort, with the specially designed vehicles set to roll out across New Delhi’s streets in the coming days and later travel to other cities across India.
